February 14 every year has been established to celebrate love and affection, Valentine’s Day! What a beautiful feeling and what power this three-syllable word, love, has! How many poets have written about her and how many stories have unfolded in books, movies, theatrical scenes but also in ourselves, in the personal short stories of our lives!
Some believe in love and seek it, some are hurt and chased away. Some were surprised where they did not expect to get fall in love and some, the luckiest, experience love in the long run. Love has no limits, you can not buy love. Love is not limited and is not categorized, it is not compromised.
But love is expressed in every case with deeds. Acts small and large that have displaced goodness and generosity. Love is taking care of your elderly parents, children and your partner. Love is to water the flower in the pot but also to offer food, water to a stray dog. Love is to care for the nature around you and to contribute to its protection. Love is to offer to people who need clothes, food, toys. Love is helping your friend in a difficult time. Love is to take care of your health and your body, yourself!
Love is to offer without expecting anything in return, to care. Love is to provide for those you love, to take care of them even if you are not by their side. Love is to have assured that even if you are not here to support all their dreams with your income, all their dreams will come true. It is love to know that they will continue to live without financial shortages and hardships of life. Love is to say without words “I am still here, next to you, I care about you, I love you”.
